I have been waiting for this weekend since the end of last football season-- I am heading to my first football game of the year at the new 49ers stadium tomorrow and couldn't be more excited! We are heading down to San Fran in the AM and spending the night with one of my fave ladies and then heading down to the game early on Sunday morning. I know it is preseason but the fact that football is back makes me so so excited. I can't wait to cheer on Kap while staying cool in the sun with a nice cold beer. Seriously, not much is better than football season!

After spending some time up on campus over the weekend for the ribbon cutting I got really excited for college football season. The Wolf Pack season kicks off in just under two weeks and I can't stop counting down the days until tailgates, afternoon football and fun weekends with friends. While I am no longer in college, it doesn't mean we can't pretend on game day! I snagged this hat a few weeks ago before our weekend long camping trip for only $5 and can't wait to wear it to a few games this season. Football means fall is just around the corner! YAY!

Superbowl Snacks

Every year I look forward to Superbowl Sunday for a fun day full of drinks, snacks and football. One of the biggest problems with the day though is the lack of healthy (or somewhat healthy) options that tend to be served. One of my favorite healthy snacks these days is kale chips and so after a successful batch was made for our Bachelor Monday party, I decided to share my recipe with you.
First things first, this may be one of the easiest recipes you ever follow.

Step one: Turn oven to 350 degrees.

Step two: tear kale into small pieces, removing all stems.

Step three: drizzle with olive oil.

Step four: add sea salt.

Step five: bake for ten minutes.

Step six: enjoy.

Each of the girls who attended our Bachelor party loved these chips-- even those who had never had kale before.

I hope you like them just as much!
