For the last few years, the beginning of September has meant lots of guys talking about fantasy football. This year, some friends and I decided to join in the fun. My friend Melissa pulled together ten girls for a fantasy draft and last night we all got together and picked our players. We each brought some beer or a bottle of wine, some appetizers and our game faces. A few of us even dressed for the occasion sporting shirts reppin' our favorite teams.
Melissa came over before everyone arrived and helped decorate. We put up some streamers and balloons as our inner sorority girl cheered with excitement.
Overall, we learned that drafting fantasy teams is much more stressful than we ever imagined and we have so much more respect for all of the fantasy-playing men in our lives. We are so excited for the days of benching players, worrying about injuries and spending Sundays watching lots and lots of football.
