On Friday, I mentioned that I was heading out of town for another work trip and time at home with the fam. One of my favorite things about coming home is wearing casual clothes and enjoying the humidity-free weather. I spent Sunday catching up with my bestie and wandering around outside with my family. We walked the pup around the lake and then did a little shopping. I can't believe how nice the weather has been and I am so excited to spend the entire week out here on the west coast.

I don't know what it is lately, but everytime I open my closet to pick out what I am wearing for the day, I go straight for a vest. I really don't know where this recent obsession came from, but I sure am loving them. The first time I wore this Mural vest I knew it was going to become a staple in my closet but I never thought I would get so much use out of it. 

Because I am loving vests so much lately, I wanted to show you a few of the ways I have loved wearing them here, here and here.

When I pulled this vest out of it's box, I knew it was perfect. I have been wanting to add more vests to my wardrobe for the past few months and this utility vest is exactly what I have been looking for leading up to these warmer months. If you can't tell, it is pouring rain in the photos. I just couldn't wait for nice weather to wear this vest. It is one of those colors that goes with everything. Why have I not incorporated more blush colored items into my daily apparel?
