Two things I have had my eyes open for this season: summer dresses and vintage jewelry. I was actually quite inspired by this DIY from Grace over at Stripes and Sequins and ventured out to a huge flea market this past weekend in hopes of finding some jewelry to re-purpose. After wandering the isles and isles of vendors, I had just about given up hope when I came across this necklace, almost hidden in a box of jewelry. I asked the vendor how much the glass necklace cost, and at $12, she named just the right price. I quickly pulled out my cash and swooped up this gem. The color, the length, the weight-- all of it is perfect. The necklace is quickly going to become a staple in my jewelry collection.
