Yesterday was my first day back at work after Hurricane Sandy. After spending the past few days lounging around the house in sweats, it was hard to get ready for work in the office. Waking up early and picking out an outfit was a struggle, but luckily I had two new things to make my routine easier: a new pair of shoes and a new hair style. 

This was my first time trying (and somewhat succeeding!) with a curling wand. I have been looking for fun new ways to style my hair and decided to try this out. It was much easier and faster than expected and I am excited to keep trying out new ideas.

First Day

Yesterday was my first day of work at my new job. Picking out an outfit for a first day can be so stressful. Luckily, my friend Ashley was still in town to help me out. We decided you can't go wrong with a little black dress and a summer blazer.

Some days I really enjoy dressing up. Today is one of those days.

I love wearing dresses and today I decided to pair a black dress with a funky necklace. I picked this one up a few months ago at Girls Night Out. I love the look of necklaces with collared shirts so I combined the look with a dress today to add a little bit of flair to my outfit.
