Tourist Weekend

Sometimes I love playing tourist around DC. This past week was full of tourist-y moments and I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures on here. The first photo is from my nighttime monument tour I took with my co-workers and the rest are from my weekend with Brad's family in town. We had a great time visiting all the sites and could not have asked for better weather. I have included a link to a full slideshow with all of my photos from the weekend.

march day one: up

The first photo for March: up.

I chose to interpret this as an image from somewhere high. My favorite place to take photos like this: the roof at my office. I love this photo and could take it 1,000 times and still not be tired of how cool it is. It is a view of the tops of buildings, the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument (my favorite building in D.C.)
Whenever the weather is nice, I try and enjoy lunch on the roof. Today was one of those days. It is sunny and 65 outside... a perfect day for a rooftop lunch on top of the city.
