Alex and Ani

While I was in Boston, I was introduced to Alex and Ani jewelry. If you have never heard of Alex and Ani, you are really missing out. Alex and Ani bracelets give you the creative freedom to pick out an arm party that suits you. My friend Sarah and I visited the store on Newbury in Boston and easily spent over an hour looking and charms and trying to pick out the perfect combination. I ended up choosing a gold beaded bracelet and a heart charm. She went with two beaded bracelets as you can see below.

Alex and Ani offers silver and gold bracelets that are simple and can add to any collection. I am so happy to have discovered these bracelets and plan on wearing them with all of my jewelry.

*This is not a sponsored post. Alex and Ani has no idea I posted this. I am just really excited about my bracelets.

Snakeskin Scarf

Ever since I attended the Karen Millen fashion show at Tysons Galleria, I have been planning my first snakeskin purchase. At first, I had my eye on some snakeskin pants, but I haven't found a pair I had to have yet (nor have I really found an occassion to wear them.) On my mission to find some snakeskin apparel, I found a lot of articles of clothing that I would never wear. Only in the last few years have I started wearing animal prints. I used to hate them but lately they have really been growing on me. I still find it hard to pick out great animal print pieces as so many can look cheap. When I found this scarf at The Limited, I fell in love. It was exactly what I was looking for!
1. Snakeskin
2. Quality materials
3. A scarf
Well, I wasn't really looking for a scarf, but a girl can never have too many scarves in her closet!

Riverdance

Top: H&M Similar Style  Tank: H&M  Shorts: Abercrombie and Fitch  Shoes: Jessica Simpson  Bracelet: Stella and Dot  Bracelet: Thrifted  Watch: Michael Kors

Yesterday was one of the final US performances of Riverdance. My friend Kristin invited me earlier in the week and I, of course, said yes. The show was held at an outdoor location where food and drinks were allowed in. We has a cooler full of food and drinks and spent the evening chatting, snacking and watching a great performance.
Because we had lawn seats, I chose not to wear anything too dressy. I love the color of this top because somehow it always makes me look more tan than I am-- a must have in the summertime.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
