Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great long weekend! As I said on Wednesday, I was so excited to pull out my red, white and blue and I definitely wore my share of patriotic clothes. Saturday was spent coordinating furniture moving as I am the new proud owner of a dining room table and then I went off to a BBQ with some friends. Sunday I met up with another group of friends up at Lake Tahoe and then finished up the day with dinner with the family. On Monday, I went to my second crossfit class (yes, I'm dying) and then spent the majority of the day searching for chairs to go with my new table. I ordered some online but am still on a mission to find others that I love. Any suggestions?

Hope you're weekend was fabbbb. Oh, and make sure you enter my giveaway before it's too late!

This weekend was full of things I love: visiting Eastern Market, shopping and lounging around. I think that spending a lot of down time on the couch has helped me recover from last week's illness. Sadly, I still sound rather manly.

While wandering around Eastern Market with Brad's fam last weekend, I came across this vendor selling beautiful photos of DC. I really wanted to buy the photo of the Lincoln Memorial with the red umbrella, but I decided to think it over and either order it online or come back another weekend. Welllll, I couldn't get the photo out of my mind all week and decided to head back this weekend and buy it. I then picked out a fabulous frame and decided to hang this beauty in my living room.
I am so excited to have new art in my house!

Bubble Necklace

Top: Abercrombie  Sweater: Mossimo Similar Style  Pants: Gap  Shoes: Via Spiga  Necklace: online boutique Similar Style

I have been really into my new bubble necklace lately that finally came in the mail last week. I ordered it months ago and could not wait for it to arrive. Now that it is here, I seem to want it in every color. I feel like this necklace can be worn with just about anything, plus, it adds a pop of color to every outfit-- especially a simple outfit like the one I paired it with today.

In preparation for fall, I pulled out a cozy sweater and a new look. I finally made my hair darker! I have been wanting to tone down the blonde for awhile now and I finally was able to make the switch. I really like how it is much closer to my natural color and I am so so excited to have darker hair for the upcoming colder months.

Mint Clutch

With the high temperatures we have had the past few days, I have had very little motivation, especially because I have had the week off work. I have spent most of this week laying around, running errands and taking care of Brad after surgery. It has been a very relaxing week but I am excited to get back into a routine next week.
A couple of weeks ago I ordered a clutch online from Gigee Marie. I found her website through the CapFABB network and was so excited when I stumbled upon it. I saw this bag in mint and knew I had to have it. I think it can go with just about anything-- I love it!
Hope you are staying cool this weekend!

Happy Fourth!

Riverdance

Top: H&M Similar Style  Tank: H&M  Shorts: Abercrombie and Fitch  Shoes: Jessica Simpson  Bracelet: Stella and Dot  Bracelet: Thrifted  Watch: Michael Kors

Yesterday was one of the final US performances of Riverdance. My friend Kristin invited me earlier in the week and I, of course, said yes. The show was held at an outdoor location where food and drinks were allowed in. We has a cooler full of food and drinks and spent the evening chatting, snacking and watching a great performance.
Because we had lawn seats, I chose not to wear anything too dressy. I love the color of this top because somehow it always makes me look more tan than I am-- a must have in the summertime.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
