Happy Halloween

I was so excited when Warby Parker reached out to me to help launch their new Winter Collection.
If you've never heard of Warby Parker, you are probably living under a rock. This awesome company sells glasses (including prescription) for $95 and for every pair your buy, they donate a pair to someone in need that cannot afford glasses. How cool is that? I'm not sure what I would do if I couldn't see, so I love supporting organizations that help those in need.

This new collection has six new shapes in five new colors, including stylish frames in cold-weather hues. I've included images of some of my favorites. I think the pair at the top kind of stole the show, but I really like the emerald pair as well. And with all frames at $95, a girl can dream of owning more than one new pair.

You can find the collection online at warbyparker.com and at Warby Parker stores and showrooms today.

Ghoulish, Yet Girly

Yesterday I showed off a few ways to change your look for Halloween which is something I am seriously considering after my very simple cat costume last year. While I am still brainstorming ideas for this year's haunted holiday, I am anxious to see what fab ideas come through the Friday's Fancies link-up. I am really hoping for some inspiration.

I picked out some of my favorite ways to take Halloween into the workplace with my picks above. My very favorites are those nail stickers and the bat earrings. And if you are looking for a great tutorial on making your own festive holiday apparel, check out this link from Merrick's Art. She has an easy DIY for a great bat sweater. I really want to try it after reading her post.

Halloween Ideas

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays each year because I am always looking for an excuse to dress up. Maybe it is the sorority girl in me, but dressing up is seriously one of my favorite things to do.

Hey, even Kate Spade is a fan of dressing up.

When I was introduced to CamoEyes a few weeks ago, I knew this was a perfect way to switch up my look this Halloween. I am still on the fence with what I want to dress up as, but I know that having different ways to change my eye color will only add to the fun.

I test drove two pairs of the colored contacts last week only to find that switching up my look is really fun, especially with my new hair color. I picked out the emerald green lenses and the purple lenses to see how different my eyes really looked. The results were pretty crazy-- and perfect for the upcoming holiday.
CamoEyes offers costume contacts for $24.99 a pair and that includes shipping. Not a bad price to completely change your look for a night.

Happy Halloween

In honor of today's colorful holiday, I wanted to put up some festive pictures.
A couple of weeks ago, my friend Kristin and I did the Color Run at National Harbor. We woke up early, grabbed some coffee and prepared for a day full of color.
Here are the photos:
