My latest obsession: leopard print. I love little accents of it everywhere and searched high and low for a leopard print scarf that did not look trashy. There are so many out there but none of them really fit the look I was going for. I finally stumbled upon this one while in New York last week. I got really lucky and picked it up from a street vendor in SoHo. It was only $5 and EXACTLY what I wanted. How lucky! I think I will be wearing this scarf a lot in the future.

This morning was a sad morning as I had to say goodbye to my mom. She heads back home to Nevada this afternoon so we met for coffee before I went into work. We had a great week and a half together but now it's time to get back to my routine. Luckily, I am heading home in just a few months so I will get to see her then.

Today is a very humid day in the city-- not looking forward to the next few months. It is in the eighties today with very high humidity. It's just about time to start wearing my hair up on a daily basis.
