feb day twelve: inside your closet

Today's photo: inside your closet. 

I flew home from Arizona last night and my life needs some organization before heading back to work tomorrow. This photo clearly shows that. I need to finish unpacking, do laundry, get groceries and get back to real life. It is also kind of a sad photo because which is capturing my mood so well. 

Coming back to real life, cold weather and responsibility is so depresssing. I would much rather live in a hotel, in 80 degree weather and not have to worry about a thing. 

Coming home from vacation is never fun, but I really wish I could be back in the sun with some of my favorite ladies. 

3 weeks until they get here.

feb day eleven: makes you happy

There are so many different things that I could use to show something that "makes me happy" but I decided to stick with my theme of warmth and sunshine. 

I truly love being by the pool so I decided to use this for today's picture. Laying around the pool in Arizona was the most relaxing part of my trip-- even though it was only for a short time. Just laying in the sun, feet in the water. 

That is my true definition of happiness.

feb day ten: self portrait

There is clearly a theme to the week: sunshine. 

For my self portrait, I took a picture of my shadow. I feel like there is never sun out here like there is on the West Coast so it seemed like a great way to capture the image. 

feb day nine: front door

In the spirit of my week of travel, I decided to use the airplane for my "front door" picture. It captures the fast paced mood of the week and just seemed really fitting. Not to mention, it is a lot more excited than the front door of my hotel room.

feb day eight: sun

The Arizona sunshine was one of my favorite parts of my trip. It was beautiful weather and soo nice to sit outside and enjoy the sun. It was 75-80 degrees over the course of the week and I would do anything to go back right now. (The wind chill here right now is currently 14 degrees. It is noon.) I love the dry heat in the West and the weather really made me want to move back. I heart the sun.

feb day six: dinner

Monday was kind of a crazy day. It was our first full day in Arizona as part of the Colonization team. We held personal visits from 9am-5pm and then prepared for our first evening event. It was philanthropy night so we set up tables and centerpieces for all of the women to understand more about our philanthropies. The them was Love Purple. Live Green. So so cute. We didn't have much time between visits and the event setup so we ran over to Chick-Fil-A and grabbed millions of chicken nuggets for the team. We bought a box of 8 nuggets for each person… so we really bought almost 100 nuggets. Insane.
