Navy Stripes

Top: Old Navy (on sale for $8!)  Jeans: 7 for all Mankind  Shoes: Boden love this pair  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban  Necklace: c/o ShopBevel last seen here  Watch: Michael Kors  Bracelet: Stella and Dot

It's pretty obvious that navy has been my color of choice this week (as seen here and here). I haven't left the house without it in days and I keep finding more navy to love. I think it has to be the warm weather-- I don't know what it is about navy but I just love it! Maybe it's my version of black in the spring?

Well, I can tell you that this color isn't going anywhere soon. I just ordered a new navy and white (hmm, never worn that combo before) sweater yesterday. So much for trying not to buy new clothes after the move. Oops.

What to Wear with Plaid Pants

Top: Ann Taylor similar here  Pants: Gap  Shoes: Boden USA other styles available here  Necklace: Banana Republic (currently out of stock)  Bag: Forever 21  Bracelet: Stella and Dot  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

It is no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Gap slim cropped pants.  I mean, to date, I own seven pairs. Yup, seven.
When I was browsing the Gap website last week, I came across these plaid pants and decided they were a great way to spice up my wardrobe as the temperatures drop. I have many pairs of these pants, yet all of them are solid colors. I love the look of plaid pants and can see them worn with so many different tops.
Here are a few of my favorite looks:

Summer Dress

Dress: J.Crew similar here  Shoes: Boden  Necklace: BaubleBar  Watch: Michael Kors  Bracelets: Stella and Dot and flea market similar here  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

I think a little bit of Friday's inspiration wore off on me today while picking out my outfit. I think after a weekend in the sun I just wasn't ready to give up the most summer-y color: watermelon.

I have loved this dress since the moment I laid eyes on it and knew it was the perfect color to balance out my new two-toned flats. They are quite neutral while the color of this dress stands out on its own. I love the way they truly balance each other out.

Oh, and I highly recommend you check out these flats if you are looking for some fun new leather flats for fall. They have multiple colors and are currently marked down from $98 to $29. And if you order before August 19th, use the code 2A02 for 15% off and free shipping.
