White Denim

One of the great things about white denim is its ability to seamlessly transition from day to night. I threw on this outfit the other night and thought how easy it would be to wear to work (on a Friday) and then out for the evening. White jeans are one of my favorite summer staples and am so excited to be able to wear them more often, now that the weather is warmer. While I am a huge fan of my black skinnies, there is something about white that I can't get enough of.

It's no secret that I adore black and white outfits. Something about the simple colors strikes a chord with me. I wanted to keep today's outfit very simple when wearing my new cuff from Color by Amber. I received it weeks ago and had trouble finding just the right look to pair with it. Because I didn't want the cuff to compete for attention, I chose an old standby: black and white. I think it really makes the cuff stand out and you can focus on the detail, rather than the rest of the outfit. 

I am a big fan of letting accessories do the talking, which is why I pulled out one of my favorite clutches. I snagged this mint number last summer from Gigee Marie and think it does not get nearly enough screen time on the blog. It is fabulously made and I love taking it out for the night or running some errands around town. If you have never seen one of these bags, I definitely suggest checking them out.
