Neon + Neutrals

Dress: Amanda Uprichard  Tights: HUE  Boots: Frye  Sweater: J.Crew  Scarf: similar here  Bracelet: Kate Spade  Watch: Michael Kors  Sunglasses: Pac Sun

One of my favorite pairings of all time has to be neon and neutrals. I think it's something about the way the neon pops against the neutral color. Instead of sticking with just simple black and white, I wanted to pair this neon dress with one of my new favorite neutrals: leopard print. Somehow prints have snuck into the neutral category in my book and I couldn't be more thrilled to wear them on a more routine basis.
Also, this dress was a find a few weeks ago when I attended the Last Call by Neiman Marcus event hosted by Maria.  I saw this dress and it screamed summer brunches to me. But, in my usual fashion of not being able to wait, I decided to pair it with tights and boots and throw it on for what I am hoping is the last of our winter weather.

  2. Hi, stopping by from Mix+Match Fashion. I am Ada, nice to "meet" you. You look gorgeous in this bright Neon Pink. I like how this Outfit is a cross between early Winter and early Spring. I love layering dresses like this all the time and I wore a lot of Dresses with Cardigans, Scarves and Boots this Winter. You can't go wrong with Leopard - it is a Neutral I agree.

You got a new fan. Hope you stop by my little blog too and like it. =) Enjoy the weekend, Ada. =)
