Antelope Pants

I have been on a mission to find light-colored work pants for over a year now. When Banana Republic sent out an email (which I always seem to open!) announcing their new Hampton Pants I had to see what they were all about. I ordered immediately them in "antelope" and anxiously awaited their arrival. When the pants came in the mail, I fell in love. I actually found a pair of pants to wear with darker tops that I love. They are comfortable, easy to style and can easily transition through the seasons. 

Braided Headband

I have been in love with all the braided hairstyles lately and today I decided to try out a new one. My usual braided hair style is a french braid (off center) that ends in a messy bun. It is a great hairstyle in the hot and humid DC weather but today I wanted something a little different. I decided to try out a braided headband. I have seen it so many times and knew it was something I wanted to attempt. I think it is a great way to keep my bangs out of the way with the weather as hot as it is.
