As you may have noticed here and here, my bubble necklace is one of my favorite jewelry pieces these days. Pairing it with stripes was a fun way to mix it up in the office before I left.

Merry Christmas Eve! 

Yesterday, we flew up to Michigan to spend the week with Brad's family. I love visiting Michigan but I am not excited about the cold weather (and all this snow!). The high's this week are not going to be above freezing. Because it will be so cold, I was sure to pack all of my warm clothes: boots, scarves, gloves and more! I hope we stay warm throughout the week.

A few months ago, I decided to go through everything in my closet and get rid of things I no longer wore or things that were yet to be worn. This dress made the "get rid of" pile, but at the last minute, I rescued it and threw it back in my closet. I never really wore this dress because I thought it was too short for work and not something I would wear around on the weekend. Today I thought to pair it with tights and wear it as a tunic. Plus, with the vest on top, it makes a great winter outfit!
