Summer Fridays are the best. Days at work are slower, the weather is perfect and you can spend the day anticipating the upcoming weekend. White jeans scream summertime and were the perfect outfit choice this morning.

This weekend I am looking forward to pool dates, concerts and hopefully some great barbeque. I won't be able to spend Father's Day with my dad, so I am hoping we can grill some food in his honor.

Holiday Weekend

Are you getting excited for the long holiday weekend? I am. A few days full of fun, friends, the beach and the boyfriend. I can't wait! I woke up in such a good mood today in anticipation of the weekend. I grabbed my favorite sweater, threw it on over a dress, and ran out the door. The color is, by far, my favorite and it just added to my good mood.

In anticipation of my new camera coming, I wanted to wear something bright today to match my excitement level. Plus, yellow and gray is my favorite color combination. I have never worn a yellow shirt with gray jeans-- I usually keep the yellow/ gray combo to accessories. The shirt is pretty bold but it is a nice touch for a Friday.

With temperatures down into the the thirties last night, it was time to pull out a sweater to get through the cold morning temperatures. I LOVE the look of button down shirts under sweaters. Adding this classic look to a pair of jeans is the perfect outfit for a cool Friday.

I did want to focus a little more on my jewelry today:

I recently started working as a stylist for Stella and Dot and wanted to show off some of my new jewelry. This ring is my new favorite addition to my collection. I seem to be wearing it almost everyday. Also, the bracelet on the top is the new Autism Awareness bracelet. 20% of the proceeds from each bracelet are donated to Autism Speaks. What a great match! It is much cooler outside today so I decided to wear something very classic (read: simple) and comfortable for a Friday in the office. I was getting ready and was about to take photos of my outfit when and my cat decided she really wanted to be in the pictures. She would not leave me alone so I decided to include a photo of her instead of just one of my basic outfit today.
