Best Vest

Okay, so, I was obsessed with this vest last year and thought that I had gotten over it. Boy was I wrong. As soon as I took this vest off the hanger I remembered why I loved it so much last summer. I seriously think it was the best $20 purchase I made last year. It is so versatile and can totally change the look of an outfit instantly. I mean, look what it did with this solid maxi. Ahh, I love it.

Also, I know I keep talking about the weather out west but I can't get enough of it. I wore this outfit earlier this week to meet up for drinks on the patio. The sun was setting and it was still warm enough to go sleeveless at 6pm. I definitely am not regretting my choice to move back to the west best coast.

Maxi Dress as a Skirt

Today I decided to try something new: wear a maxi dress as a skirt. I have recently seen some great looks with maxi skirts and wanted to recreate them. Because I don't own a maxi skirt, this was my next best option. I love how comfortable maxi dresses are so finding a new way to style it was great-- they are so versatile. I decide to pair it with a simple tank and a chambray top to make it office appropriate. I would have liked to wear this with a bubble necklace but my order is still not here. Oh well, I still love the way this turned out. I can't wait to wear this dress again!

MAXImum Comfort

Some Mondays just call for a comfortable outfit. Today is one of those days. With rain falling outside and one of the cooler days in the forecast, I decided comfort was just what I needed. Nothing is more comfortable than a maxi dress (I am not even sure sweatpants compare!) so I knew exactly what to wear as soon as I got out of bed.

Nothing is better for a Memorial Day weekend at the lake than a Maxi dress. They are so comfortable and versatile. I love pairing mine with some wedges and spending the evening by the water.
