It's no secret that I spend a lot of time at home in front of a computer, especially with my current work situation, so it should come as no surprise that I spend a lot of my days in comfy clothes and my glasses. Especially today. Yesterday was a super-long travel day (I flew to Salt Lake, drove to Provo, drove back to Salt Lake and flew home all within a few hours) so I am definitely not about to put my contacts in today. My eyes are tiiiiiired.

I was so excited when Firmoo reached out to me and asked me to try another pair of their glasses because the last time I ordered glasses from them was awhile ago and my prescription has changed since then. These frames are my new faves. I have even worn them to dinner recently because I think they are soo cute, not to mention I can see extremely well. I haven't ever had glasses with plastic AND metal so this is a BIG change. A good change.

So, if you are looking for a new pair of glasses and hate the hassle of trying on millions of pairs at the eye doc, check out Firmoo.com. Not to mention, you can get your first pair free

Working from Home + Giveaway

As I've mentioned before, I am now one of those people who work from home. I am really starting to embrace my new schedule and love days when I can sit around in yoga pants and my glasses. I wear my contacts most days but sometimes it is so nice to throw on my glasses and not have to worry.

I only started wearing glasses/ contacts a few years ago but I feel like my eyes have continued to decline since the day I realized I couldn't read the bottom of the tv. More recently, I have been looking for a new pair of glasses to match my newest prescription as my old glasses are still living in the days of my last prescription and things are a little blurry when I wear them.

Enter: these new glasses from Firmoo. I have talked about Firmoo on the blog before but this pair is, like, a million times better than the last. I am not sure if they changed their products or what, but wearing these glasses is heaven. They are cute, light and the PERFECT prescription. It is so nice to finally be able to see again!

Well, I have teamed up with Firmoo to give five lucky Style for the Seasons readers a $30 off voucher towards a pair of prescription (or non-prescription) glasses. This almost covers the price of a new pair of glasses! (Seriously, check out these prices!) What a deal! Just use the Rafflecopter tool below to enter. Oh, and this giveaway is only open to those living in the United States.

Black and Pink and White All Over

On Tuesday, I woke up wanting to wear my glasses. It's been awhile since I have worn my specs to the office so I decided to skip my contacts for a day and throw on one of my favorite pairs of glasses. Somehow, my outfit turned into a whole bunch of pink, black and white-- and I didn't even notice it until I was on my way to work and looked down at my coffee mug. It too followed the color scheme perfectly. Who knew that leaving my regular to-go cup at work would cause so much matching?

If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw how well my coffee mug fell into the theme earlier this week:

Looking for Advice

Truth: I don't like any pictures I took of this outfit.
I considered posting more photos of this look, but when looking through the photos that I took, none of them were very good. The lighting was terrible and you can't see the great mint color of this sweater. I fell in love with the sweater based on the color and I am bummed I don't have any photos that really let the color show.
On that note, I am in the market for a new DSLR. I have had mine for about a year now and am considering switching to something with more flexibility on the lens front. Everything I have tried to purchase to make me like this camera more seems to not be compatible.
So, I turn to you, blogging world, what camera do you suggest

Battling the Winter Blues

Even though I am not a fan of indoor photos, I learned my lesson last time temperatures were this cold. I opted for pictures with an uglier backdrop in order to not lose my fingers. I think it was the right decision.
I love the contrast of the teal necklace and the royal blue of this shirt. I didn't notice it during the morning, but I must have been on a blue kick when I woke up because everything I set out for the day was blue: my gym socks, my sports bra and the shirt you see above. I guess I was inspired by Ashley's Winter Blues post!

One of my favorite things about cold weather is the option to wear warm over-sized sweaters. One of my favorite combinations (especially on the weekends) is a pair of tights and a big sweater. It is the ultimate comfort outfit and is ideal for running errands. Plus, when it is really cold, you can just throw on a coat and that's all you need. Well, maybe a pair of gloves too.

Bubbles and Stripes

As you may have noticed here and here, my bubble necklace is one of my favorite jewelry pieces these days. Pairing it with stripes was a fun way to mix it up in the office before I left.

Long Weekend

With a long weekend ahead, I opted for a comfortable look today. Boyfriends jeans, a cozy sweater and my glasses. With four days off of work, comfort on my last day in the office was number one on my list.
I hope you have a fabulous long weekend! I am going to do my best to stay out of the inauguration crowds and hope we don't get hit with snow.
