On Wednesdays, We Wear Dresses

Dress: YA Los Angeles similar here  Shoes: Nine West  Bag: Urban Expressions  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban  Watch: c/o The Watch Company  Bracelets: Stella and Dot and Charming Charlie and vintage  Ring: c/o Berricle

Dresses that can be dressed up or down are one of the best things to fill your closet with. I have worn this dress a variety of ways but I think I like it paired with heels and a clutch best. I wore this to a wedding last summer but paired it with flats for a day at work earlier this week.

Also, can we please talk about the lack of layers in these photos? We had temps reach 70 yesterday. Um, hi... Spring, is that you?

Finally.

Indoor Photos: Take Two

Dress: Ya Los Angeles  Tights: HUE  Boots: Bandolino  Watch: Michael Kors  Bracelets: Stella and Dot

As I've mentioned before, taking pictures inside is still a struggle for me. But with temperatures (and wind chills!) so low,  I can't imagine standing out in the cold each morning pretending to be warm. Although my pictures are not as great as I'd like, at least I'm warm… and sometimes, that is most imporant.
The last time I wore this dress,  I paired it with heels and a clutch for a night out. I think it so fun to mix up dresses for the winter and completely change the look.
What do you like better: the dress with tights and boots or the dress with heels? Let me know!

Wedding Weekend

Dress: YA Los Angeles  Shoes: Guess  Jewelry: Stella and Dot  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

This past weekend I attended the wedding of an old friend back in Nevada. I had a great time catching up with everyone and making new memories in the process. I was so happy to be able to spend the day with such close friends-- it was definitely worth the 6 hour flight back home.
I picked out this dress about a month before the wedding but just couldn't warm up to the shoes that I brought with me. I knew they were going to be uncomfortable and were not ideal for a night of dancing. I ended up finding these the morning of the wedding for only $21! What a bargain!

Day and Night

This dress is another dress I fell in love with while at Current Boutique this past weekend. I am in love with the bright color and decided this dress is perfect to go from day to night. Because of the bright color, it is great for a summer day and then it is great to transition to a night out with a pair of heels. I wore flats and heels in the photos above to show the different look a pair of shoes can make. I prefer the dress with heels but think that flats are more appropriate in the workplace.

Which look do you like more?
