Fall Pattern

One trend that I have been obsessed with lately: birds. I found a scarf with this pattern a few months ago and waited too long to buy it-- it sold out so quickly! I knew this was a pattern I needed in my closet so luckily I found this dress at Old Navy and purchased it immediately. I am glad I ended up having to wait because the colors of this dress are perfect for this season. I don't think I could have found a better fit for my bird print craving.

NOVA Fashion Week

This past Friday, I attended NOVA Fashion Week and was able to see two shows in one evening: AMERICANMADE and Periwinkle. I met up with a few ladies before the show (including Amanda and Cheryl). We grabbed a couple of drinks before heading in to see the pieces. The shows lasted about an hour and a half as one of the originally schedulde designers was unable to make it. I was not really sure what to expect from NOVA Fashion Week but I know that I fell in love with some of the pieces I saw, especially some of the dresses at Periwinkle. I will be sure to have pictures up by tomorrow.

Battling the Cold

Today I wanted to wear something warm and comfortable to celebrate the end of the week. This baggy sweater is exactly what I was looking for. It is really warm and a perfect way to battle this cold weather we are having these days.

Tonight I am heading out to NOVA Fashion Week here in Arlington, VA. I can't wait to see the great styles make their way down the runway. I will be sure to post pictures next week.

Tie Dye Dress + Boots

With the colder weather officially setting in, I decided it was time to break out the tights and boots. I love tights with boots and have been wanting to pair them with this dress since I purchased it this past summer. I think the colors are perfect for fall and I love how the boots look with the dress. I have a new pair of black boots coming in the mail and I can't wait to try them out with all of my dresses. Boot weather is the best!
