Is there anything better than throwing on a sundress and heading out for lunch on a patio? I think not. Last week, I was rushing to head out the door and opted for a dress because I find them to be so easy to style. I threw on my favorite pair of sandals and met up with an old friend for lunch. I have to say, I am realllllly missing this great weather today. There is sadly a chance of snow. Ew. Didn't I leave this horrible weather in DC?

Okay, I really have no idea what has come over me this week. Navy stripes... three times? I mean, I knew I loved them but I had no idea I was this obsessed. Nor did I have any clue that I had this many navy and white pieces of clothing. But, I did switch up my look a bit here with this yellow jeans. I have shared my love for these jeans on the blog before, but I am so happy every time I wear them. I think it is a combo of how comfortable they are mixed with the fun bright color. They were perfect for Easter brunch with the family.

5 Ways to Wear White Before Labor Day: Day 3

Today is the third installment of 5 ways to wear white before Labor Day and I chose to style one of my favorite white sweaters. This sweater is the ultimate transitional piece as it is light enough to wear in the summer yet can easily be layered as a great fall piece. I also wanted to pull out my neon shorts for a final wear before the weather gets too cold for neon. I mean, neon is totally a summer thing, right?

Also, in order to make this outfit a bit more summery (I mean, it IS a sweater) I made my way over to the marina to wander around reminiscing about what a fabulous summer I have had. Looking out over the water got me so excited for my end of summer vacays I have coming up over the next few weeks.

Yesterday was my first day of work at my new job. Picking out an outfit for a first day can be so stressful. Luckily, my friend Ashley was still in town to help me out. We decided you can't go wrong with a little black dress and a summer blazer.
