Off to the Coffee Shop

Top: J.Crew Factory  Shorts: Banana Republic  Shoes: Sam Edelman  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban  Watch: Michael Kors  Bracelets: Stella and Dot and gifted  Phone Case: Casemate  Earrings: J.Crew Factory identical here

One of my favorite things to do now that we have perfect weather and lots of sunshine is throw on a casual outfit and spend my day working at a coffee shop. I have had a few fun coffee dates, like last week, I grabbed coffee with an old friend and sat in the shade enjoying my cup of joe. Plus, I can always arrive early and get some work done and get out of the house. It's a win-win situation.

Also, I recently bought a new bike helmet so I am now ready to start riding my bike to the coffee shops down the street. There are about five in a one-mile radius from my house. I can't wait to ride my bike there... as long as I can figure out the best way to bike with my laptop.

Summer Blues

summer blues
Nothing screams summer to me more than red, white and blue... and of course, a little gold. This romper jumped out at me last week while I was looking for summer gear and I realized how excited I am to put the romper trend to good use this year. I have one in my closet that is still waiting for the tags to be removed and I am hopeful that the next few weeks are warm enough to finally pull it out.

I am loving this look not only for weekends around town but also trips up to the lake-- even for fourth of July. It's pretty crazy that we are not too far off from the best time of the year! I don't think I have been this excited for summer in years!

Can't Stop Won't Stop

Top: J.Crew  Jeans: Zara similar here  Shoes: Kensie love this pair  Necklace: J.Crew Factory similar here  Clutch: Gigee Marie similar here  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban  Watch: Michael Kors  Bracelets: Stella and Dot + Kate Spade

Sorry I'm not sorry that I found another way to wear navy and white. This is, like, five or more days in a row. Oops. At least I know my favorite color palette this season, right? I also paired this outfit with one of my favorite clutches from Gigee Marie. The color can't be beat and looks fabulous next to white and navy. I am so glad I bought this purse a few years ago.

Also, please excuse the random yellow tint in the photos above. I was rushing while taking my photos and clearly screwed up the color balance. Oops. I guess that is what happens when your neighbor comes home to find you taking photos in front of their garage.
Ugh, so embarrassing.

Navy Stripes: Take Three

Top: Zara similar here  Jeans: Ann Taylor LOFT  Shoes: Target love this pair  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban  Necklace: Stella and Dot  Bracelet: DC flea market + Baublebar + Stella and Dot + Alex and Ani

Okay, I really have no idea what has come over me this week. Navy stripes... three times? I mean, I knew I loved them but I had no idea I was this obsessed. Nor did I have any clue that I had this many navy and white pieces of clothing. But, I did switch up my look a bit here with this yellow jeans. I have shared my love for these jeans on the blog before, but I am so happy every time I wear them. I think it is a combo of how comfortable they are mixed with the fun bright color. They were perfect for Easter brunch with the family.

I hope you had a great holiday with your loved ones as well.

Navy Stripes

Top: Old Navy (on sale for $8!)  Jeans: 7 for all Mankind  Shoes: Boden love this pair  Sunglasses: Ray-Ban  Necklace: c/o ShopBevel last seen here  Watch: Michael Kors  Bracelet: Stella and Dot

It's pretty obvious that navy has been my color of choice this week (as seen here and here). I haven't left the house without it in days and I keep finding more navy to love. I think it has to be the warm weather-- I don't know what it is about navy but I just love it! Maybe it's my version of black in the spring?

Well, I can tell you that this color isn't going anywhere soon. I just ordered a new navy and white (hmm, never worn that combo before) sweater yesterday. So much for trying not to buy new clothes after the move. Oops.
